The moonlight cut strange diamond paths across the room, the edges soft and feathering into the darkness. One small corner highlighted their entwined hands, not enough light to tell whose fingers were whose.

That has got to be the most beautiful image ever.

I like the way you've done this so there's the story of what is actually happening interspersed with bits of history of the two of them and it all flows very nicely. I love how in denial they both are ^_^

I loved Carson's scene in this. I've always pictured him as a protective older brother, and he fills the role perfectly here!
