Briefly, I read that as "How you feel about Yoko Ono is probably how she feels about you as a person". It's probably not too inaccurate.
As for the comment, my take on the whole thing is that she's a person, she does/did her thing ... live and let live? Other people have caused far more harm that she ever has, comparitively, I think.
I knew Yoko Ono as a filmmaker and friend of Kate Millet. After her marriage to John Lennon, I kind of lost interest. I have no idea of what she does today.
Then you knew her as a person in her own right, rather than only in relation to someone else. Being able to see someone that way, rather than as a human accessory, isn't necessarily that common.
