Sounds like your "mate" has a big fat nose that they need to keep in their own business. If they were anymore interested in your boyo, perhaps they'd be him or want to be with him or want to be with you if they ask so much. You're right, it's freakin' intrusive, and you have a right to kick them in the shin to move their foot out of the door, and slam the door in their face if you need to.

I don't think it's crap. You got offline. You didn't let the problem escalate. Thought next time, knowing me, I'd give 'em a good what for and why next time they ask (ex. "IT'S NONE OF YOUR GODDAMN MUTHA FIZZUCKING BIDNESS! SO BACK OFF! And if you'd prefer not to do that, just step away from that topic and things'll be fine and dandy peachy keen aka right as rain. Now...questions? Comments? Cries of outrage?" or something to that effect).

Lastly, it's your LJ, you put what you want in it, LoL, and I wouldn't be reading it if I didn't find it mildly entertaining.

nice to be added, i must look like a loser here all by myself (*echoes* myself..myself... myself...*echoes*)

yeah, so i'm only feeling riled up cos this "friend" is naturally very blunt and it seemed like a dig at me. as in, "why are you with this loser? what's wrong with you?!". that's how i took it. the friend explained they were just looking out for me, which is nice etc, but it could have been said better. what may have made it worse is that, these days, i'm feeling anti-social. i don't wanna talk about my problems. ever get that? and all he's doing is jabing at me with a fork trying to make me talk, or admit that ash IS this or that and asking why i put up with it. when in reality, i can't be arsed to think about it!!

but yeah, my lj sucks. there's a community that rates your lj. but i need more beef.

=D It gets better on LJ as time goes by. Nowadays I'd rather have a smaller group of friends as it makes checking LJs and making comments a lot harder to come by and I don't just want to fade out of their LJ pictures and end up like those camwhores who get like, 45 comments an entry and never post a single comment in any of their friends. ::Le shrug:: Double edged sword, but what's not

if you search through "rate lj" on interests, you come up with >10 different communites. i was gonna link you, but then i figured this way, you could go with the one you like, rather than the one i liked....

this is just one that i thought looked fair. cos it's what they say they do. but seriously, you'll find others :)

as for the friend, i'm just gonna ease myself away. i don't feel socialable these days anyway. so... *shrugs*
