CA Bay Area request: Help a friend?

A friend & coworker, here in Oregon, has gotten a job with Yahoo! in Sunnyvale. She starts work in 2 weeks, on 2 July. She has a 7-8 month old son.

The problem? She does not yet have a place to stay. She's looking for somewhere at or under $900 per month. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I craigslisted for sunnyvale... there are apartments available in her price range. There were lots of sublets and rooms, but with a wee one, I thought a single might be better.

And quite more when you include neighboring towns of Santa Clara and San Jose, spanning 30 miles or so.

Please do ask around. Since Michelle does have a young child, I'll understand if people are reluctant, but it can't hurt to ask around.
