So, yeah...Japanese music may be the most expensive and time consuming hobby I've had in a long long time....

Maybe I'll get bored with it?

Unfortunately, as I keep finding new artists I like every other day, it seems that it will be a bit before I will bore of it.  But I must share with those of you who don't already know about japanese music:

If you check sites like Yesasia.com, they'll have Korean, Hong Kong, or Overseas versions that are the same price as American CD's. They're put out by avex, so you aren't cheating the company out of money or getting bootlegs or anything, but it makes things nice and more affordable for us poor college students.

Yes, expensive hobby. Luckily, I have no qualms about downloading mp3's, so I have a nice collection. I DO also buy the releases, but I have this thing about sampling first to make sure it is worth it... especially as a lot of the artists I like don't ever have Overseas releases -_-;

The new m-flo album is amazing... it is going on my "to-buy" list too ;p
