I know people, folks I like and respect, who don't like Neil Gaiman!

They think reading American Gods is like reading bad Stephen King!

I'm aghast!!!!

Neverwhere isn't my favorite of his, but I still love it. I'm not sure I could pick out just one story as my favorite, though Anansi Boys comes really close. I'm particularly fond of Seasons of Mists and A Doll's House from The Sandman days.

I haven't read much King, but I respect what I've read of his attitude towards writings. I've lost all respect for Rice.

You imply there is good Stephen King...

So do I also know these godless heathens? Will I need to inflict the Hammer of Righteousness on their putrid flesh? The probably just don't understand the depth of writing...

My step-brother and his wife. I don't get it. They're normally smart and cool about these things.

It's all I can do not to try and shake some sense into them. They're normally smart and stuff.

Where do you find these people? There has to be rules about size restrictions--you must have x much class and taste or you get thrown back into the pond.

They don't like Wolves in the Walls! And they're raising my nephew!

It's horrible.
