Monkey poop

Hmm, I like monkey poop. Not quite sure where you got it, but it's got more personality than writer/reader. Hav eyou ever thought about leaving livejournal? It seems more limited than blogger/wordpress in terms of comments and other features.

Other people have agreed with you about monkey poop, so I'm changing it back.

It's more out of pure laziness that I've stayed with livejournal. I actually do crosspost to blogger (http://amithaknight.blogspot.com) but I haven't been happy with the themes at the other websites and I'm too lazy/not skilled enough to do a customized one.

I used to crosspost to blogger, too, but it got too much. LiveJournal is good for more personal things, but it doesn't rank very highly in searches etc. On the upside, LiveJournal is more community-minded than other platforms. I think that's why a lot of writers use it.

You don't have to do too much customization with Wordpress--there are a lot of great as-is themes out there. I can customize them--I have enough PHP--but it's not really worth it. There's a design for almost everything already.

Also a fan of Monkey Poop. And I'm sure kids love it!

Well...I don't like the actual poop, I'm sure--never really touched it--but I like the name.

I'm also a fan of WordPress if you are going to change.
