i'm really digging the new White Stripes record... at first i resisted them because of the whole we ONLY wear white, red, and black, and we created this myth that we're brother and sister when we were really married at one point- it was all too formulaic for me, but they're definitely worthy of the hype

I like it too! I'm helping out a family and that involves driving a fourteen yr old girl around a bit, and we've been listening to the elephant cd for weeeeeeeeeeeks. and at the i've got her in my pocket song, I pause, tilt my head say meekly "I LOVE this song!" and turn it up very loud. and the 14 yr old laughs.
here's to another comment--in the absence of amy, you've become an amy-extension. anyway, glad there was something to read today. :)

I LOOOVE that Pocket song too! I think they would be a great band to see live...
