Last night I took part in a Woody Guthrie sing along to benefit the Northampton Center for the Arts. Can you think of anything more folky and grassroots? Hundreds of people came to sing Woody Guthrie songs! Pretty crazy... I don't know him either, on WFUv sunday they have a show called, "Woody's Children", but sometimes it gets on my nerves.

Is the weather as beautiful there as here?

I bought "Dust Bowl Ballads" like two years ago (during my buying-historical-music phase) and haven't been able to really get into it. Amazingly musical family though, with Woody and Arlo, and now Arlo's kids all in the business.

By the way, after reading Chowflap and your reviews of the Beck concert at the Iron Horse I went out and got a couple of his discs. Nice call!
