Nope. I don't do shots like that, and I don't give them to my kids. Anything untested or that hasn't been around at least two decades with tons of studies done, I don't inject into my body. And everyone I know who HAS gotten any flu shots has come down with the flu. The kids and I haven't, not for years. None of my sons has ever had the flu, and I've gotten sick, but not FLU sick. I think our bodies can handle it if we take care of ourselves and don't have any underlying sicknesses that might cause debilitation or lead to lowered immunities, and once we DO get the flu, our bodies develop antibodies and we rarely ever get the flu again. I had a nasty bronchial flu thing around ten years ago, where I was sick as fuck for four days, and since then I've gotten about 4 colds, two of which were serious, and all of them were during times I was very stressed out (too much stress breaks you down physically, so you're more likely to catch something).
Probably not -- but my BFF did, as she's with child. I'm a bit annoyed that so many people who are not in risk groups are rushing to get it this week when we're supposed to prioritizing. My plan is to do the basic stuff to keep my immunity up, and do a lot of handwashing.
oh i definitely will be. i'll wait for the injection though since i heard the nasal spray vaccine has the live virus. my parents are getting it as well. especially my mom since she has a vulnerable immune system right now because she's still recovering from an operation and has other health problems.
A friend of mine got it, but she works in a hospital and they've been seeing a LOT of cases, so she got it. Other than her, I don't know anyone else who's gotten it.

I'm gonna go next week. Being diabetic, my thinking is that I should get it.
