So I knew who I made art for for my first BBB choice - the author's name was on it, and it was "another in a series" - which I loved, since I read the first stories in the series and loved them. Have turned in two bbb claims. Three "bits" of art for each.
Now we just have to wait until posting begins...FYI...
I fell asleep both thinking about my contribution to BBB art, and also listening to "Vices and Virtues."
It made for some extremely weird, extremely vivid dreams.

In case anybody was wondering, the new MCR album is pretty good to shovel snow to.
And now, whenever I hear it I will think of 17 degree weather, and a foot of snow. Odd, for a summery album, but there you go. Can't have everything!...and DONE!

I've been reading apocalypse fic, as one does, and it it interesting to me how many authors have their characters deal with the IMMEDIATE needs... and ignore long term needs. Or even ignore typical weather/seasonal patterns. I mean, I know a little poetic license is okay, especially with folks dealing with the aftermath of an apocalypse - but ( Read more... )Various things...
