My kids are not enrolled in any extra curricular activities right now because they're in daycare/aftercare all day AND there are very limited options around here for activities that do not take place during the day. I still feel really guilty.

Don't feel guilty. At all. Not worth it to you or to them. Honestly, my belief is that kids today want to do LESS and have more time relaxing at home, especially since they aren't home all day like we used to be. Tori, btw, has been able to do one, sometimes two activities at a time her entire life. She doesn't seem to mind it today. (Although I do think having something is a good lesson for time management and of course good for the college application, but by high school kids in theory take up less of your time.)
