I know that they can be found in the "International Foods" aisle at a couple of grocery stores near me. Let me know if you can't find them near you - I'll send you some.
Hurrah :D That's awesome. I'd never heard of them until I got to England, an entire country with an obsession over them. I shall look while I'm home. Thanks for the offer ^___^
Oh, I keep meaning to email you, and it never quite happens... the producer of Richard III cornered me at the pub the other night, and said, "You went to Sarah Lawrence, right?" NB: no one here knows SLC. So I confirmed, and she goes, "Do you know anyone who did the Oxford program? Because my college was Wadham, so I knew a bunch of the students." Thought that was hysterical- small world! Unfortunately, she was away the year you were there. Thought that was worth sharing ^__^ Miss you!!
That's amazing. At least she and I probably know some people in common, so degrees of separation are still in play. XD If you think of it, ask her if she was in/knew people in the choir, as that's where most of my Wadham friends were from.
Those look delicious. I love the whole cake-or-biscuit controversy, too. Haha. Mmmm controversial food. I wonder if I can get them anywhere around here. I'll certainly be looking now.
