“It was kind of hard but easy at some point” Working with those guys, right? At first you were so different from each other, always fighting, with different ideas, the only people who seem to be in the same channel were Kame and Jin, well they have always been in the same channel, but with time you just…worked out. It was like magic…or like Johnny-san really knowing what he was doing; now you just can’t imagine yourself in another band or with other friends. You are like family, no matter what, right? Even without Jin, you still manage to work out, to please the fans, to be together, now more than ever…
“Ahh~ just Kame and Jin’s present’s left!” you giggle while going out the store for your so called “mission”

Ueda’s POV
Winter can be freezing, right? But you like it that way; it makes you feel in a fairy tale, when everything is covered in white, such a magic and fluffy feeling. Man you are so simple…but it’s okay to be like this, you think to yourself, you need a time to relax after all, if you are always apprehensive about everything, then you won’t move forward. And in that relaxed atmosphere, you can’t help but think about how time and KAT-TUN has changed you, just now you have finished filming “Runaway” and you are mostly free for Christmas. And that’s another prove that you have changed, from that awkwardly teenager who would fight with fits and all with Kame, who would end up crying while singing “Best Friend” in a oh so funny English with him. You have grown up, Jin’s departure, the fight and struggling that all of you have to put up with, so that you won’t fall, you can say now, more than ever, that they are true friends, friends with not a lot in common, but the most important thing: the wish to surpass yourselves.

Koki’s POV
Okay…you can’t believe it…you just refuse to believe it! How can it be possible that the last jacket that you have seen especially for that idiot of Taguchi wasn’t in stock right now?! Really…you should have to listen to Kame and this wouldn’t have happened…but either way…WHO WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE SAME COLOR AND SIZE OF JACKET?! What the hell was wrong with this people?!
Breathe and calm yourself, there’s no need to freak out over some damned jacket! It is just that’s frustrating because you thought that said jacket will be a perfect present so you won’t bought videogames like EVERY SINGLE YEAR! But it seems that God is against you this year, and really…what else can you buy for Taguchi? You’ve got everybody’s gift, there just one left and…damn that kid can be so difficult at times…You smile…well either way…all guys are so unique and love different things, and you wouldn’t have them another way…You groan, yup you are heading now to the videogame’s section.

Taguchi’s POV
Too quiet. Everything is too quiet, isn’t it? Always when you get home, there is always silence greeting you, and it almost makes you forget about the laughter and silliness where you come from. Keyword: almost. No matter what can be said about the group or about you; you are more than happy to be part of KAT-TUN, you don’t really regret anything, even with Koki, or everyone’s constant bully, with Jin singing in America and a sometimes moody Kame because of that, or a sometimes sadistic Ueda or a too careful and frightened Maru. It doesn’t really matter, with all those moments of happiness, of fulfillment every time you finish recording a single or a making. Because those are the most real and warm moments that you can have in your heart, you know that they care about you, just the same way you care about them…after all without a little tease there won’t be a real family, right?

Kame’s POV
It’s snowing again, but it is winter after all, so that isn’t a surprise. Why do you always feel so alone and cold in your apartment? Well, the answer is kind of obvious, because you are alone, here, right now there’s no one who can provide you with heat. And you miss at these times, the arms of the person you love the most, the only person who can make you feel over the moon in happiness, your precious one. Ah, there goes a tear, if the guys find out that you have going all sad about Jin, they would kill you for sure, it is not as he is gone for good, you know that he will spend Christmas with you, it is just that it’s so hard to wait, you miss him like hell. God! Really! That group of silly boys will kill you AND Jin for this. They care a lot for you, not because you are the baby, but because you have grown together, you have passed a lot of things together, fought against circumstances, you have proved the world that you are strong in your friendship and work relationship.
You are not alone and…suddenly…it got a little warmer now, you smile a little.

Jin’s POV
Home! How good does it feels to be at home? Well you are about to find out, you have arrived to Japan like some days ago, but with the rush, you promoting your new single and everything, you haven’t had the time to sit and chat with the guys, and there’s no need to say that you haven’t seen Kame in all the week, both of you being busy. At least you could wrap all the presents you got from America, all of them for each member…well maybe Kame will get more presents than the others…just two…or three…BUT he is your lover, so NO ONE can blame you for that, right?...Okay, you’ll have to save some distance from Koki if you want to see Kame’s smile for the rest of your eternity.
But it’s so good, to be back, you are anxious. Yeah anxious because you’ll be meeting the guys for the first time since you left again to USA, it feels like years and that you are meeting up with some college friends, like a reunion or something like that. Well it is not that different, they are KAT-TUN, the warm place where you grew up, of course you miss them, after all you aren’t some heartless bastard, even if you don’t really talk about it, you can’t help it but missing them, they are the friends who know you inside out, and Kame…your Kazuya…God, you can’t wait to get inside of Ueda’s apartment. And like that…you get inside.

KAT-TUN POV
All it’s filled with chatting, laughs and happiness. One can see the relief and warm that fills the room, glasses clicking, flashes, more smiles and excited talks, the six doesn’t seem to shut up any moment, after all times like these are weird and precious. It’s been so long since the six of you have gathered together, since you’ve seen Koki abusive kick to Taguchi, Ueda sadistic grin of knowing it all or his fairy talks, Nakamaru attempts of peace, Taguchi’s joke that freeze the atmosphere, the happy Akame couple who are so mushy over each other, kissing, hugging and bullying Nakamaru together, just like in Cartoon KAT-TUN time.
You can see that glint in everyone’s eyes, the honesty in their screams, laughs and the bliss. It is like nothing has changed, it is the same way as before. Its midnight and a Christmas haven’t seemed better than this, one of many others before and after this.
“WHAT THE HELL?! NAKAMARU! WHY DID YOU BUY THAT JACKET?”
“What are you talking about?!”
And more laughter filled the house…
