So today, at around 10, 10:30am, I walked into the library taking a deep breath, kind of dreading the 5,000 word paper that I was about to marathon into oblivion. I'd started it at least, but I'd fallen behind; my Philosophy class was canceled and I intended to put the time to good use.
Surprisingly, I actually did. I was making excellent progress

Dead computers are the most annoying thing ever. I only once had a non working printer, when I had to do a paper until the next ady. But that was way back in school times, so nobody cared anyway.
What exactly are you studying? I think I'd gave up, if I'd have to write a 5000 words paper.
I'm happy that we just have to write scientific papers and those are finished, when everything is scientifically explained. XD

And ugh, dead printers. Mine's not dead, but it's out of ink, and I still need to replace it. My dad bought those bottles of ink to try to refill it, but it didn't work :C Still works as a scanner though, haha.

I'm not sure if you remember my entries from this time last year, but I had somehow succumbed to a very nasty throat infection. So nasty, in fact, that my family doctor told me to get my ass home (a town three hours away) so he can examine me.
He looked down my throat and checked out my swab results from the hospital in my school town. He literally immediately put me on intravenous antibiotics. I had to stay home for four days because of it and got no work done.
During this time I was in a serious pickle. Exams were coming up, and more importantly term papers were due. My freshwater ecology paper and my senior thesis had practically no progress done other than preliminary data collection. They had to be handed in the following week. What was I going to do!?
Thankfully, approaching my professors looking and sounding like a zombie pardoned my lack of work. I still handed them a doctor's note, but apparently I didn't need it because they could see my condition for themselves.
Man that was a rough month.

I don't quite remember your posts exactly from back then, but that does sound rather unpleasant D: I'm glad your professors were awesome enough to pardon the lack of progress you made in that case...having to work on anything when you're that sick is just miserable. D:
Admittedly this time, it wasn't something personal for me (as he extended it for the whole class), I was still very appreciative. =)
