So lovely and sad. Very clever to use Titanic as the scenario. While reading this a small part of my brain is playing what it remembers of the film with Rose and Jack somewhere in it especially that dining area scene.

This is much worst than seeing Rose and Jack's so-called relationship wither away because of their circumstances.

Yes, I guess you are right. When I was writing that scene I thought about the scene in the film. But I was trying my best not to make it too smiliar. :)
