Ok, gathering the top 10 bands of this year! :)
1. Three Days Grace
Three Days Grace's new album saved my 2009 album year! Absolutely.
I was slightly devasted after the La Resistance fiasco with Muse... but Life Starts Now totally saved 2009 for me. :) Thank you 3DG!
Three Days Grace has always made me feel better about my situation at home, and here's one song that really means a lot to me:

And thankgod for making Adam as gorgeous as he is with his voice! Hoping to see 3DG live some day. :)
2. The Dykeenies
The Dykeenies. Mmm... just pure pleasure. They are just pure pleasure, damn them. They're going to (hopefully) release a new album soonies! I CANNOT WAIT! :D I am so excited! Ah! I seriously do love them, and I have already planned that once I move to England, I will go to see as many of their gigs as possible. I will just HAVE TO. I adore this band. They just are the best indie band ever! And from SCOTLAND! Ha!
3. Muse
Muse, of course. Don't kill me for putting them 3rd! They should be happy about getting such a high place...
Anyway, 3rd place because of playing Unintended in Helsinki. Even though I know why they played it and I can only thank someone for that!
I don't wanna start on the new album, so I'm just going to skip the whole thingy. :P La Resistance is weak. WEAK.
Anyway, I can thank this band for many things and that is the real reason, tbh, why they are 3rd. :)
4. Arjen A. Lucassen
Damn, I idolise this man, he's the god of progressive music! And his music has always and will always inspire me to really listen to the music and love it, just simply love it! AND HE'S DUTCH! ♥ And has worked with many talented musicians! :) You should check out his music now if you haven't already. :)
5. Within Tempation
UTOPIA!!! Do I need to say anything else? :)

6. Katy Perry
I'm so bad, I have fallen for Katy Perry. She's my... forbidden fruit... :P
She's talented, I tell you. And she can actually sing and write lyrics. Plus she loves Queen! They're her main influence, I think that's great! :)
She's beautiful as well and not half dead, like many other american (too) skinny singers/actors/famous people etc...
She actually has thighs... and they are GORGEOUS. :)
7. Stereophonics
AH! I WANNA FANGIRL SO BADLY RIGHT NOW!!!
This Welsh band is the omnomnomnom for me. Kelly Jones. ♥ Ah, do I seriously need to say more? Thanks to Ewan I know this band and that's another big reason why to LOVE Ewan even more. AND Stereophonics. (I noticed I use 'and' a lot... lol)
I like Stereophonics because their music calms me for some reason... And I'm not even sure can you call their music "calming" but for me, they have that effect. :)

8. The Frames/The Swell Season/Glen Hansard
Thank you, Once.
That film means a lot to me. Even though I have only seen it once at the cinema and even though I do have the DVD, I haven't really had the courage to face the huge shower of feelings that that film awakens in me. I'm glad that when I went to see the film I had 3 of my very good friends with me. :)
I guess, The Frames, The Swell Season And Glen Hansard, for me, represent having dreams. I dunno does that make sense... but everytime I listen to them I just get the feeling that these guys have fulfiled their dream. And I think that is one of the best and most important things in life. :)
9. Ash
I dunno why this band attracts me so much. But it should be in my top 10. So here it is.
LET'S LISTEN TO SOME ORPHEUS, AYE?

10. Rascal Flatts
Rascal Flatts. They have written some very beautiful songs. I have some weird connection to this band but I love it, and I love their music... and here two of my favourites. :)
