rommmates like that are annoying. i'm glad i don't have to deal with those kind of things.

It's not the first time it's happened to us. The first time was with our Chinese Roomie. He just disappeared one day, no notice. So we lost about $500 from that (rent and utilities). He also kept getting bills but we couldn't find him for him to pay them. So we opened them... he owed the phone company $2500!! Good thing it was in his name or we would have had to pay for it.

wow so he owed you $500 did you ever get it or not? and did he phonecomapnay got track of him for that phone bill? be glad it wasn't in your name.

No he moved back to China, so neither us or the phone company got out money. Grrr...
