I am happy to say I have at least managed to get to interview at one university.

I'd had 2 refusals so was feeling rather down. Now I at least have an interview I feel better and its from a university that has a high mature student population so I'm feeling optomistic. Only downside but this applies to any university on my chosen course (nursing)

De Montfort at Leicester have offered me an interview, Sheffield and Nottingham I'm waiting to hear from!

At least you'll understand the tram system if you get into Sheffield xxx and I know one of the librarians at Leicester

I'm not feeling particularly optomistic about Sheffield sadly as they had my application in early Jan its mid feb and they've not even sent a confirmation email saying they're processing my application but yeah I at least understand the trams.
Is the person you know at one of the unis in Leicester or just at one of the cities libraries?
