*sighs* being able to drive is really starting to bother me. not only do i have to be driven around by everyone else. I can't write a check at the comic book store because i don't have a drivers liscnce. apparently a valid us passport just wont cut it for some reason. i need to fix that and soon before i start hurting people

Get a KSID...looks like a DL, but it's an ID. They accept it as identification and it's only a few bucks.

Before I used to have my Driver's License, I sued to use my military ID and a lot of places would give me a hard time about it. "What's the problem? It's a government-issued ID cards; federal government. This can be used anywhere in the word, and you're telling me it's not acceptable?" If I lectured them, they usually accepted it. I think the issue is, not many people used it, so they didn't know how to deal with it - the same may be true of the passport.

Just a thought.

I have an old minnesota state id lying around here someplace. I've been meaning to get one for kansas for a while now, but havent gotten around to it yet. i really ought to. I'll have to try pushing the passport a little more until then.
