Music Quiz

The rules:
1. Open a music player.
2. Go to 'all music'/'library'.
3. Hit shuffle.
4. Find photos of the first 15 artists/bands that come up [no repeats and no cheating].
5. Have people guess who the artists/bands are.

Yes, looking at the URL/file name is cheating.

I have no idea who any of these bands are. All I know is that the guy on the right in #10 looks like Paul Campbell from the new Battlestar Galactica. I'm also going to presume that some of them are Jack's Smirking Revenge, The Metastatics, or Rusted Root. Those are the three bands I know you know of -- but I have no idea what they look like.

No JSR, Metastatics or Rusted Root, I'm afraid, although you can satisfy your curiousity on the former at http://jsrband.com/. So you could at least spot me in the future. =b

That's kind of tricky, considering people think Joe and I are brothers; we both have long hair, we both wear glasses, and we both play bass and sing at different times. Easiest way: go to the images page. From the grid, go to the next to last picture in the third row. That's one of me. I'm here and there throughout the rest. I'm also the one making the cringe-worthy singing face in the banner, when that particular pic comes up. The banner pic is a random thing. I really hate pictures of myself singing. =x

Well, the two kids in front in #3 aren't actually in the band. They just happen to be in that band photo. Just for clarification.

Okay... some hints:

#3- The asian guy in back is the drummer, and he's a fucking madman.

#4- People have heard their music nationwide; they just don't know what the fuck they look like (or, usually, even whom they're listening to).

#6- If anyone actually got this, I would be very surprised. They had a song in a car commercial.

#7- Let's just put it this way... Alex would probably get this one immediately.

#8- They really have their sound together. I guess that's what happens when you write the exact same album three times.

#10- Where the hell is Michele? Oh yeah, she ditched LJ. Someone go get her, and she'll tell you who this is.

#11- This one's for Krys.

#13- No one will get this, ever.

#14- Too easy to give hints, really. I'll wait for a couple guesses first. Several of you have seen the frontwoman live, but not the band.

#15- This is the most difficult band to look up on the internet.
