Wow, I never heard of a tattoo being charged by the hour. I actually didn't think it looked unfinished so now I can't wait to see it completed.

About this spider - I would just stick in a container and leave it outside. Uh huh.

Actually any custom tattoo work is almost always charged at an hourly rate since it's hard to determine just how much it will cost to finish the piece beforehand, usually though they charge a flat rate with a tendency to drop the fee rate hourly depending on the time required to finish. In my case, I'm hoping he just rounds whatever we're doing down to 2 hours b/c I know it's gonna take at LEAST that long to finish, possibly more. :X

Oh, and the reason it looks finished is b/c that top section you saw is its own design in and of itself so it is in fact complete as is, the remainder is going to cover about 3/4's of my forearm and have a celtic-looking pattern that wraps around with latin text on top hehe. I will be very excited to show it to you when you return from Arizona! :)
