Haha I'm in the Cardiology area too! Cardionet provides Mcot, event and holter monitors for the patients when the physician orders them. :D Know diagnosis codes? 426.9? 780.2?

Nice. I'm just working on keying EKGs, so 426.9 doesn't come up much, but syncope? Hells yeah. If I'm ever passing out, I'll yell 780.2 before I hit the floor

The most popular icd-9's for us are 427.31 atrial fibrillation and that 780.2 syncope and collapse. Md's looooove those two....such a dork I am.

I think 786.50 chest pain is the biggest one for me. Aaaand there's a lot of 977.9 unspecified overdose ... unspecified just because I'm too lazy to look up the substances. (They don't give me the codes, I have to read the reports and decide which one should be used.)
