Thanks to the input of my lady friends on my previous post, I wore a very cute outfit to the dinner Saturday night, and had a wonderful time.  And I succeeded in not wearing jeans!  Hoorah.

Friday night, Thomas was out with his Man Friends so I made myself a pretty dinner.  Sauteed five big Walla Walla sweet yellow onions for a half hour in a nice

Oh my god, when & where will you be in Italy??

We're traveling to Sarajevo, Croatia, Slovenia, Venice & Munich from 9/3-9/27. We'll probably be in Venice in particular from 9/22-9/25. Any chance we'll overlap?

Oh fun! And yet also darn. We're going to be in Milan 9/9 - 9/13, then taking trains south in a loop, with stops in whatever towns appeal to us (Bologna, Ancona, Assisi, Perugia, Firenze). Flying out of Milan 9/22.
