As I told a friend of mine - oh boy, I *so* want to see Bald!Atobe showing off his shiny new head and *thanking* Echizen for shaving him. I mean, who wouldn't like to see the beauty and perfection of Ore-sama's skull now? XD
But I think what bothers me the most is the BIG wanking and the Ryoma and/or Konomi bashing, rather than the facts themselves. God, but some fans are childish.

I do, though, find the way in which the shaving was done a bit tasteless. Perhaps because it is the winner kicking the loser? Would have liked it better if Atobe had shaved his hair himself without blinking an eye.
Yeah, that too perhaps. Until Rikkai, he wasn't not considered to be Seigaku's nr 1. and it was still some of the others who got a chance to face the bigger names, but now it always ends with Ryoma vs. strong guy.
With the Hyotei one it would have been more interesting if Tezuka got his chance against Atobe and Ryoma would have taken on the nr. 2 for once again. I don't think what you say is childish at all, in a series that people got pulled into because of many different characters, it might not be so smart to put all the spotlight on just one of them the whole time.
