Ha. So it does have a real name. I used to work with some people that did that and by "work" I mean we went dumpster diving together. I got an awesome shirt and once the guy I was with shook the maggots out of it It was next to an exploded bag of meat, it was completely wearable. There's a lot of food to be gotten out of dumpsters, I preferred the ones behind grocery stores because produce, thrown out, just freaks me out less than cooked food. Yep... either way, I got out of it because I was too squeamish. It was fun though, at least in a conversational sense. I mean, the things people talk about when digging through a dumpster is worthy of sitcom. Not the bad kind that stay on the air for years but the really awesome ones that have five shows before they're canceled.

All I have to say to that is WOW! That is the most hilarious thing I've heard said in about five minutes (aside from the cartoon that just came on on Googlecurrent about Tom Cruise and his insanity)

I watch those shows and HOUSE might be one of them and it has maintained it's originality cruising past this five episode period.

Yeah so I guess I got off subject there! LOL. Anyways I do think it is a good way to cut down on waste. The pod lasted probably 10 minutes or more and I think it took place in New York. The people only collected food like vegetables that were in bags in dumpsters behind or in front of the store. They said that the stuff they found was very fresh yet it was till in the trash. Supposedly stores throw away food every week just when they get new shipments in or the people that stock the shelves might throw away the new stuff because they don't feel like taking the old commodities off the shelves. Yes America is very wasteful.
