Take 60 seconds to do this, I guarantee you willshow someone else,

1. go to www.google.co.uk
2. click on "maps," above the search bar...
3. click on "get directions"
4. type "New York" in the first box (the "from" box)
5. type "Paris" in the second box (the "to" box)
6. click on "get directions"
7. scroll down to step #24

Saw this a while ago, but as a geeky aside, I sort of imagine this being how it goes whenever the Temple try to get from A to B without either Icarus or Corra (who until the GEF at least seem to be the only one who can read maps) ;-)

You'd let Icarus lead you somewhere??? Map Reading or not... there's only one place you're going to end up following him... Of course, being the Temple, the pub might be where you were heading anyway...

Well obviously that's why we had two map readers! One to find pubs, the other to find anything else useful =)

Try New York to Glasgow. You have to go via France, then it seems to have you drive across the English Channel. It's the same route as the Dover Calais ferry, but the close up map has you actually drive off the pier in to the sea.

isn't it going through the chunnel?

Simply put, no, it's not.

The turns are too close to the sea for it to be going through the chunnel, and just after you get to Dover it has you drive (the wrong way, I think) down the dock access roads. If it was the chunnel then you wouldn't turn until you hit Ashford at the earliest.
