1920's

Right, I need some historical fasion help.  There is a 1920's themed party I'm going to and I can't remember what the men wore back then.  I've got a vague idea, but not sure.  Black suit, balck shirt, red tie and fidora.  Am I even close?

On speaking to folks at the game last night we figure that's less 1920 and more 2005.

Your best bet is probably Mr Ben's down at King Street.

The black shirt would be quite out of time for 1920.

Is it UK or US fashion? They'd be pretty different at that point in time. Suits were thin styled and probably grey rather than black unless you were in evening or otherwise formal wear. Gangsters and folks of that ilk tended towards pinstripes.

The fedora should be spot on though.
