That second one really grosses me out. The first too, in a different way, but number two is just kind of visually ewer.

yeah. It was really disturbing to hear her say it under her breath. Really disturbing. It also commands attention, which is equally as bad.

Christmas is a big movie day in our family because we would rather sit in darkness and be entertained than talk to each other.

rightly so, and I made that point, but this one seemed solid to me. I didn't expect the reaction that I got though. Richard Dawkins invented the term Meme, I thought you'd enjoy that.

what has florida done to your sister?

in preparing christmas materials for my students i re-learned that a "jewish christmas" is chinese food and a movie.

i also lied to them and said i'm part jewish and that some in family celebrate hanukkah and that my immediate family isn't religious but we still celebrate christmas with santa, etc. this was partly to be able to talk about christmas in school without feeling guilty and also to lie. it's fun lying to children.

Man! I hadn't even thought about the potential to lie over there. I think I would've really learned French if that idea had been motivating me. Dammit.

Yeah, I really wish I'd worked out all of these elaborate stories before I came here, or just started lying constantly. I've started to toy with the idea of what it would be like to have all these fake documents and just disappear. Then I stopped watching the Bourne Identity.

To be honest, Florida has done nothing to my sister, at least in this department. Remind me to tell you her wonderful "Ebonics" tyraid. It ends with her saying the term three times in a row.
