Thank you! I have to admit, that conversation was supposed to go differently, and the ending was supposed to be something else entirely. but it came out like that, and I just couldn't add more. it just seemed entirely too perfect.

I will admit to originally intending a part of the conversation to include Blaine's feelings about his parents not being there to help him move. (I don't know if that even registered to anyone, but they are decidedly and purposefully absent) but, there didn't seem a good place to put it in, so I figured, I can address the issue in a different way later on in the verse.

I'm glad you enjoyed it though. thank you for your kind words and thoughts!

had looked at eat other after coming back
Um, is this supposed to be looked at each other? Because I'm sure Blaine looks at Kurt like he's edible, but I'm equally sure Burt isn't thinking that here. :)

Also, stop making me cry. They're growing up so fast!

Burt was ready for it really. He never really expected the boys to come back from a weekend alone and not to have done something, and the way they had looked at eat other after coming back and every day since then was so full of love and trust he didn't see how they could not have progressed their relationship to the next level. It saddened him, though that his son felt he had to hide that fact from him.

He let out a slow breath. “Well, at least I know for sure now.”
