I feel really frusterated, and I know a lot of people probably feel the same way I do.

In september of 2008, I decided to go back to school becuase I was tired of working customer service and I wanted something better for myself than a minimum wage job.
so I applied for OSAP and took the 1 year office administration program.

Now the year is over (in 4 ( Read more... )

Okay, what loop-hole can you go through to bypass it? Or, is there other places that you can post this information? Can you spam the bias website? Could you convince graffiti artists to make their own billboards if they support the cause?

By the way: why do you need fluoride in your water? I suppose I just question it because I knot that city water is bleached, and so it shouldn't need anymore treatment after the bleaching, right?

Also: Ya, I can't find a job either. It seems like it's gonna be volunteering for me this summer.

It doesn't actually do anything useful for the water. Everything biologic is either microfiltered out or killed with the chlorine. The fluoride is just a drug they think everyone should be taking, and the best way to make everyone take it is to put it in the water.

supposedly it's supposed to help decrease tooth decay. Except that there are no actual studies that can prove this.

I keep meaning to e-mail you about coffee, how does friday after 4:30 work for you?

and I am thinking of loop holes. Aparently people are allowed to post advertisements, so maybe I should make an advertisement for something and have the website included?

Oral hygiene is important, but it is also strongly dependent on the person who is supposed to do the oral hygiene. For example: last year, after ten years of not going to a dentist, I decided to go. I took such good care of my teeth during those ten years that I pretty much wasted their time. I drink well water, which is not at all treated, so adding fluoride is only helpful to those who are apathetic about oral health. Then again, well water is not recycled, but that has nothing to do with fluoride.

Sure, if the advertisement way works then go for it.

Also, Friday at 4:30 works fine for me. See you then!

youre going to have to get more creative with your postering.
bus stops! coffee shops! churches even if you're confident enough to explain yourself and ask permission.
remember! for a fraction of the cost, city council could provide free flouride to anyone in thunder bay that -wants- to use it.
that way, TBDHU gets their "health benefit" and the city saves some of it's money.

What really pisses me off is that we're paying (a lot) of tax money to operate one government agency whose main purpose lately seems to be lobbying other government agencies.

I know, I don't remember if I commented on how much city council gave the TBDHU for promotion in the next 2 years, but it's over $100 000. That's rediculous. Just on promotion!

City council could do so many other (and better) things with that money. It's sickening.
