Hey! I'm getting a degree in education! =p I am personally having a difficult time finding a job. Many teachers are not retiring and a lot of schools are unable to hire new teachers at the moment. At least that goes for the elementary schools. Now a doctorate... and a college... I don't know. I'm done babbling.
LOL I guess I should amend that to "Worthless outside of the Elementary/Middle school setting". I'm just one of those people that think my Biology teacher had better have a degree in Biology and not something else unrelated to the subject at hand. Elementary and middle school settings do not require the in depth knowledge on a subject that High School and College students require. Therefore, a general education degree would suffice
( ... )
Also... college classes have substitutes? I don't think I ever had a sub in a college course. At the most, another professor came in and gave us the homework and sent us on our way.

I went to "the women's college in Columbus."
Which is actually a long-time co-ed college that's in the process of changing their name.
