Good lord I want to do more crazy shit like this, mine seem so "normal" in comparsion. Loving the older craziness! Loving the ink head with a long tongue with the Lock on the left particularly.

Thanks! I was on a real roll coming out of high school, and if I'd actually been encouraged to improve and expand in a way I could understand or that was relevant I would've done awesome. If they'd have shown us what we could do with art after school that would've been great too. Instead I was stuck in a place that told me illustration was not acceptable, my creatures were not acceptable, and that if my art wasn't making political statements of the leftist variety they wanted nothing to do with me. I actually tried doing not-creatures for a while, but they hated that even more. It was insanely frustrating up through the end, and I definitely had a long period where my art went backwards instead of forwards. The difference between my highschool and college works are pretty great, with the former being (in my opinion) much better

Coulda, woulda, shoulda... we all go through it, but eventually that'll grow hair on your palms.

That was fun to see the progression over the years! I really like those inked pictures with the "cutouts" showing the underlying musculature.

My favorite is that last one. <33 Love the color scheme.
