Springy cat-goat critter with face horns/crests. Pack animals built for springing and sprinting. Weapons of choice: 'wingblade' type things - skeletally structured like a bird but no webbing or feathers, just a tapered bone that comes to a point at the far end and is knobbly toward the 'wrist' - knobs clack together or click across things for distance comms.
