every new semester, and ESPECIALLY every new year here... always feels so different and weird. just the dynamic from losing some people and gaining others, it always feels really strange. especially if some of the ones who left were your best friends. it feels a bit empty without them. like you spent all your time investing in their friendship which was awesome, but now that they're gone you're left among people who you don't really know as well, who already have their own cliques and you're on the outside. but old people come back and visit sometimes or you see them at other places, and among the new people there can be some real gems (like you cutie!)

so expect the change, don't be afraid of it.

hehe what's REEALLY strange is when you look around your senior class, and see that 7 new people have been added, and everyone else was with you since freshman year... and yet, more than 7 other people have left in the meantime. but that's life.
changes are always unsettling (good or bad)
