A logo process: Tombstone Jig

This logo, for me, is the classic example of "you're trying to hard". I knew I wanted to something simplistic, and separated from the digital look of modern logo design. I wanted symbolism that didn't involve random shapes desperately justified into some vague meaning.

I love the look...

...though part of me wants to encourage you to make a version using Papyrus just to watch Jared's head explode.

I am apparently in an evil mood, today.

Saw lots of those death heads in New England.
You could tell the age of the graves at a glance as the pulled away from the deaths head and went to an image of an urn.
