I couldn't bring myself to do "Notes of a Native Son" for that same reason (I love Baldwin and really can't do much other than adore his writing), and I'm finding a happier home in "Attending a World."

Yeah, I feel that way about the white stripes. They used to be my favorite band, and now they are finally coming to portland, and I'm not too psyched about it. As opposed to a year or so ago, when I would have eaten a pickled human foot to go.
