You can set a default privacy level, such that future entries will all appear as friends only if you don't go out of your way to specify otherwise. In order to change all your old entries to friends only, you used to have to edit each one individually for security level. They recently added a convenient feature to change them all at once, but it is unfortunately not available to free accounts. Probably your best bet is to just save yourself the trouble of going back to fix all the old ones, but making all future entries friends only
