Had no idea they were naming this episode in honor of the fandom that they have reduced to incoherent screaming, but kudos to the Fringe showrunners!
Oh my God.
This was...far, far better than I expected, because almost every other show who jumps forward X number of years does so badly.
This 3-part finale has awesomely wrapped things up, and there may be things I miss here because I'm still concentrating on not screaming, flailing, and jumping up and down.
Alt!livia's baby was a necessary storytelling vehicle, not a recipe for disaster: Over There needed him for the machine, in order to set this whole plan in motion.
Jumping forward in time, necessary! NECESSARY TO THE PLOT, not just "I don't know how to get from x to y, so let's do a time jump." Peter MADE A DIFFERENT CHOICE because he'd seen the future!
"A tribe of Bishops" <3 <3 <3
Walternate as full on evil badass. You understood his motivation, having lost his entire universe, but that was still...WOW. YOU FUCKING SHOT OLIVIA.
And Walter breaking my fucking heart. I understand that someone had to take the blame, but... damn.
Alt!livia just being vaguely amused by the entire end of days/them appearing in the "bridge", etc. makes me love her. "They outsmarted you, didn't they?" *smirk*
John Noble and Joshua Jackson deserve all the awards. Ever.
Seriously: Peter is Jesus. He's sacrificed himself for the universes and will rise again. I'm still holding out for him accidentally having created a third universe, and being there right now. Possibly riding a Brontosaurus.
