ART: Darkest Before The Dawn (After Camlann Big Bang)

Here are two pieces of art that I created for Rocknvaughn's fic "Darkest Before the Dawn"

OMG AMPH!! I FUCKING LOVE THESE!! That first set, holy shit! So fucking intense and the golden light is OTHERWORLDLY FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!! Then poor Merlin writhing on the ground with all that power crackling around him! HOLY SHIT!! I love how you singed the straw on the floor and the fabric of his sleeves complete with glowing red embers and the way he's almost clawing at himself while his mouth is wide open in agony! Just...fucking wow.

*ahem* So..I liked these very much :D

Also, I loved the dividers you did for the story-the throwing dagger in the apple, the infinity wreath of holly, oak and ivy and esp those deadly beautiful cuffs-each one was AMAZING!!

I don't even know where to begin. I absolutely adore your panel set for the reveal scene. I love how you can tell what is being lit by firelight and what is being lit by sunlight. The looks on both their faces are so intense!

And of course, the dungeon scene...poor Merlin! We do love to whump him, don't we? But his suffering is so clear in every tense line, the open mouthed scream, the clawed hands, one of them clutching his heart... Whew!

Also, I adore the depth of field of it, how your eye is riveted on Merlin; so much so that everything else fades into the background. Also the, smoke and steam rising from the scorched straw...the ring of glowing embers! *Kermit flails*

I also loved, loved, loved the headers and I think you should include them here! The details on the cuffs, with the runes and the glow from the inside, the leaves of varying colours, the delicate chain....EEEEE

These are freak'n awesome, and I'm not even sure what else to say except that I LOVE them. Arthur's face is so expressive in the first and Merlin in the last one just wrecks me. The details in the scenery too, the smoke (the scorch marks, the straw) are just amazing. XD
