I (finally) saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II.

And it was epic and awesome. I do not mean this in the diluted sense the internet has bred, but in the older sense of veneration for something.

I cried when Fred died.
I cried when Lupin's ghost comforted Harry.
I cried pretty much every time a member of the Hogwarts faculty appeared. The ( Read more... )

I cried (again) when I knew that Hagrid was going to be sad. Not that he was sad, but that the sadness was coming. That movie wrecked me :P

It really was gorgeous and powerful and Snape rather stole the show (his death nearly usurped Bill's from Kill Bill as the best death ever).

I was surprised at how much the film affected me, I have never been a huge fan of them. But, it did and I'm glad :)

Snape's death, I didn't cry as much at, because I had spent lots of time mentally prepping myself for that, but Hagrid had me shouting at the scream NO! HAGRID! DON'T BE SAD! HE's TOTES FAKING!
