I wasn't doing too well today working on what I'm supposed to be doing, and this little pre-story came to mind.

It's set directly before Stephen starts. 1200 words.

I haven't read Stephen again for about a year but it was the one story that i never forgot. It was so powerful I sometimes used to have dreams about it. :(
So I wasn't surprised when I read this prequel that everything, all the emotions and drama and heart stopping awfulness of Kris and Adam's ordeal flooded back. What was absolutely lovely though was reading your amazing writing again. Thank you.

Thank you! For all the stories that I convert, Stephen is the one I can't touch. I can't imagine it being anyone but Adam and Kris. I surprised myself writing this yesterday and how easy it was to slip back into that world.

I know :(. Ever since my computer got sick, last year, see technically it's not dead but it still doesn't work right, I have been using my phone. It is my lifeline but commenting to so much harder than reading and moving on. I'm trying to be better and sttart commenting on stuff but it is so time consumming when the keyboard is stupidly small!
