Found while surfing the net: This very sweet anniversary blog post from a woman who has now been married for nine years. I don't know that I'll ever find someone I feel this way about or who feels this way about me, but I'd like to.
I don't have a Facebook. I keep thinking that maybe I'll get one, but then my natural tendency toward procrastination, social isolation, and technological aversion kicks in and I end up putting it off once again.
If I go for it, how would I friend you, or whatever the correct term is for Facebook?
Yes you can friend one another and then you can see their updates kind of like this friends page. Plus you can friend corporations, forms of entertainment, celebrities (blech lol), and such and follow along with their announcements etc.
The blessing/curse of Facebook is that entries are generally very short and to the point. Some subjects need more exposition and then you can make a different kind of entry that allows you to write more, but it's also kind of nice not having to feel like you have to write a 2 page essay and just share a thought instead.

Hey do you have a Facebook? I hardly ever come on LJ anymore, but I'd love to keep up with you.
