blue whales have almost disappeared from the earth. Before the whaling industry took full swing, there were over 140,000 blue whales. Now there are under 5,000. and they're still hunted. The north pacific Gray whale, once so abundant, is now extinct

It is really amazing what children can write/do. I once found something like that that I wrote, too. And I was all "Wait. I, I, wrote this? I couldn't think of this now, how did I do it then?"

But to whomever of you wrote it, that's amazing for someone of either age category. And by far definitely true.

lol yeah i was shocked at first. In a way i think we become "stupider" as we grow up...less original and more conformed...it's refreshing to know that at one point we had these beautiful thoughts. Even gives you hope that maybe if you try, you can have them again and break away from the norm. or i could just be one of those dorks that looks back and goes "awww look how CUTE i was back then" lol

Nah, I agree with the how in a way we become stupider as we get older with the conformity and all. And please! Everyone is cuter when they're younger! lol

beautiful things should b appreciated, regardless of where the beauty came from.

everything has beauty, but sometimes ppl refuse to see it because they hav a problem w/ an aspect of it. r size 6 ppl ne less beautiful than size 2? r black ppl ne less beautiful than white? is a blue sky ne less beautiful than a starry 1? sunrise and sunset? youth and old age? life and death? land and sea? words and visions? thoughts and feelings? love and hate?
