My parents got a german shepherd puppy (out of the blue?) and we named him Schnitzel. I'm not really a dog person, but maybe this lil guy will change that.

i'm not sure if julie andrews was the original inspiration for the name, my mom said in German it means, "a little piece"

hahaha, i just looked it up on wikipedia. It is Israeli fried chicken as well as many other little meat dishes, and in English it means "cutlet".
