flitterkit inexplicably found a silkworm inching across her tray table on the TGV this morning. I dashed out at the Valence stop to leave him in a grassy patch. My good deed for the day.

It is, in fact, nice to jump in a time machine and revisit those halcyon days of '06. Especially in such a dreamlike, European manner. I'm glad you're still posting these.

(Also, it still occurs to me that I missed out by only stopping in France for a day or so, on our way elsewhere. We had about enough time for a quick trip up the Eiffel tower, but not much else. I wish I'd gotten to more of the food. Though I was 15, so I probably wouldn't have appreciated it.)
