Niagra

We went up to Niagra Falls for the first time today and all and all it was pretty cool.  The surrounding area wasn't at all what I expected though.  Having been places like the Grand Canyon I was thinking there would be a visitors center and some contained pockets of civilization surrounded by carefully controlled park land.  This is not the case

My parents would agree with you. They stopped in on their annual migration last summer and they said there was no comparison. The Canadian side of the Falls far exceeds the American side.
