Project 365: February 15-21
This week we went to Paris. I'll be making another travel log post about the trip but there are a few pictures here.
Monday January 15
Dan bought me an orchid this weekend. I named it Larry. So far he's doing well and since this picture was taken he has two more blossoms. Go Larry!
Tuesday February 16
Today we met with a notary to get our paperwork signed to sell our house. We should close on March 5. I can't wait. I snapped this shot on my bike ride home. After I took it, I was putting my glove back on and this adorable little old man asked me in Dutch if I was cold. I laughed and said yes and that I was from Florida. He laughed and patted me on the back. It was cute. I also went to a dietician today to figure out a healthy eating plan. I really liked her. She's also right down the street from our apartment.
Wednesday February 17
I should have taken a picture of the long, long journey I had to make to get to a FedEx so I could overnight our house paperwork. I had to take three buses and a train just to get there! It took forever, but it was worth it if all goes well with the closing. Instead, I took pictures of the tulips I bought myself to make me feel better about wasting my day off traveling to a FedEx. Tulips are my favorite flower and they are so cheap out here. This bouquet was only €2.50! I wish the shot hadn't come out so blurry but I can't figure out how to take good close ups with my iPhone.

Friday February 19
Today we went to Paris! A friend of ours is going to be working there for six months and his company flew him out this week to meet the people at the Paris branch. We met up with him for dinner and walked around the city a little bit. I love this shot of Notre Dame. I really think all buildings should have gargoyles.
Saturday February 20
Today we explored Paris with our friend Matt. This shot is from my favorite place in Paris, Pere-Lachaise cemetery. I could spend hours wandering around this place. It was amazing.
