Thought I'd post something since I haven't for so long. I wonder if livejournal actually can work as a journal? I mean, yes, for now, but what about in 10 years time when I want to remember what the hell I was doing or thinking at this point in my life? Will it still be here? No, it probably won't be archived after this site becomes obsolete in, oh... I'd say maybe 5-10 years?. It's a matter of security (Protected/private entries), managing access to that secure information, and the fact that computer storage that's not on a magnetic "block device" is very good at eventually dying due to deterioration. I suggest purchasing some acid-free paper that'll fit in your printer and putting it in a file cabinet or something like that if you're really up to being a sad, nostalgic, crumbly elderly person.

I think I'm gonna have to do the whole printing-out-my-LJ thing...

I've definitely been using it as an actual journal lately. :| And I fully intend on keeping all my old diaries and laughing at myself when I'm old.

Oh, I was totally ON it. Eight hours straight while at work, then going home to play it, or playing it while at Denver's house: I was ON it.
