Jeff and Annie as the parents of a boy who loves hacky-sack is inspired! I smiled so wide when I got to that line.

My first Doctor Who episode was Matt Smith's first, as well, so I know nothing about Rose (I'm actually fond of Karen Gillan, unless that's bad, in which case I'm totally not), but I plan on skimming the Eccleston and Tennant years once the current series ends, so I suppose I'll meet her soon.

Oh so you just got into Doctor Who? That's awesome! I've been loving Matt Smith's reign so far. He's so quirky and fun! :D And no it's definitely not bad to like Karen Gillan. lol I think she's adorable! And the Eccleston and Tennant years are definitely worth watching. :)

I've only discovered Doctor Who this past year (I clearly live in a cave. Hee!), but I think your Doctor and Rose sound great as well! ^^ (Loving the new series with Amy and 11 too!)
